We must be a people who constantly reach up to God with our lives by surrendering to Him and His purposes. We must be a people who reach up through worship, and engage with our God through His Word and prayer.
We realize we cannot follow Jesus without loving those around us. Jesus commanded us to love our neighbor and this demands for us as individuals and a church to reach out with open arms and hearts, activating ourselves in serving those around us and sharing the gospel of Jesus. While we must own this personally, our church also provides opportunities to serve in ways that are gospel-motivated.
We are a family of believers. This demands love and service to each other. God commands each of us to make an impact in others lives. We must be reaching in to each others lives by growing in our relationships, sharing love, supporting one another, and helping each other grow in Christ. That’s reaching in; that’s discipleship.
