“Its amazing to be part of a rich 186 years of gospel faithfulness here in Albion, and we are so excited about God’s plan for us as we move ahead.”

It was in 1837 several families gathered together on March 4th and founded the First Baptist Church of Albion with 11 members. They called Pastor T.R.Z. Jones of Detroit to serve as their pastor. In 1851 they built a building for corporate worship at North Superior Street where we called home for 120 years. In 1971 we moved to a 10 acre lot on 29 Mile Road and Concord Road in 1971 where we are currently located. In 2018 the church auditorium finished completion the renovation of our main worship space. We are now continuing on in our 186th year of gospel advancement and striving to shine as lights by helping people find their purpose in this world and fulfill God’s plan for their lives.
