Open-Air Worship August 2 at 10am - Rain-plan

Sunday we have a special time planned for everyone. We will be gathering at Victory Park for our time of worship and are looking forward to adding 10 new members to our church and baptizing several more. In light of the possible rain - we will gather for a brief time of worship and Word ministry under the large hockey pavilion. There is plenty of room to spread out, so bring your lawn-chair and come ready for God to work in our hearts.

At the end of our time there is a spot outside the pavilion where we will celebrate new believers faith through baptism. It is a pleasure to see God saving souls and we want to encourage these young believers in their growth.

As a final thought - as you pull in tomorrow - lets leave the parking spots closest to the pavilion available for those who need it. We are looking forward to a good time together and will see you there.

As for those who don’t feel they can make it we are providing a recording of the service on Sunday at 11:30a.m. at www.fbcalbion.com Because of being at the park we will not be able to Livestream but will offer it on our website at any time after 11:30am..

FBC Gathering Protocols:

1.       Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.  Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus.

2.       6-foot social distancing and reduced contact points. Bring your own lawn chair, We will also use an offering box rather than pass a basket

3.       As we are meeting outside, masks are optional, and as you see some choosing to wear a mask, use it as a reminder to follow 6 foot distancing as well.

4.       Follow directions for parking and seating.

5.       Help make this a Corona-free zone: We don’t desire to have it, spread it, talk about it, or discuss the politics surrounding it as we focus on worship and Jesus Christ.

We love each one of you and are praying for God to continue to help us to grow in His wisdom and grace. May God bless you this weekend.
