Open-Air Worship July 26th at 10am

Amazing! God just continues to bless us with beautiful summer days - and this Sunday we will use it to worship and praise our King. Don’t miss out as this Sunday we will meet outside in front of the Family Life Center. Along with worship in song, we will dive into God’s Word as we continue to study “Reboot: God’s Church, God’s Way.”

Next week we are going to be adding people to the church through membership and also baptisms - how exciting! If you feel led to follow the Lord in baptism or desire to become a member of First Baptist Church - just let Pastor Tom or one of our church leaders know and we will help you take that next step. You could also send an email to office@fbcalbion.org to receive more information.

Remember, as you pull in the parking lot, please pay attention to those directing parking. We will continue to use all of our protocols (listed below) and don’t forget your lawn chairs. Also for those with children, don’t forget to check in at 9:50 for the final week of our Kids Mystery Island Adventure.

We are also committed to providing those at home with a Live-stream of the service on Sunday at 10a.m. at www.fbcalbion.com – It will be Live so please do not be caught off guard by assuming you can start watching at some other time. It will also be available later Sunday afternoon.

FBC Gathering Protocols:

1.       Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.  Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus.

2.       6-foot social distancing and reduced contact points. Bring your own lawn chair, We will also use an offering box rather than pass a basket

3.       As we are meeting outside, masks are optional, and as you see some choosing to wear a mask, use it as a reminder to follow 6 foot distancing as well.

4.       Follow directions for parking and seating.

5.       Help make this a Corona-free zone: We don’t desire to have it, spread it, talk about it, or discuss the politics surrounding it as we focus on worship and Jesus Christ.

We love each one of you and are praying for God to continue to help us to grow in His wisdom and grace. May God bless you this weekend!
