Open-Air Worship - June 7th 10am

Hello Church,

This weekend we will offer our 2nd Open-air Worship as well as at home Live-stream. Our commitment is to minister to everyone, wherever that may be with worship beginning at 10am on June 7th. Last week was an excellent time of worship and challenge from the Word. Thank you for abiding by the protocols put into place (listed below). We must remember that these actions are in effect for our safety and that our follow-through will help all of us return to assembling over the long run.

You will want to stay connected through our website fbcalbion.com. This coming week we will have announcements of some upcoming events. Some special things are being planned for kids on Sundays. Teens will also be planning some events that include our entire church that you will want to stay informed about. We also want to remember that next Sunday the 14th will be the Mize’s final service with us before they transition their ministry to Wisconsin. They have blessed our church for over 7 years and lets each prayerfully consider giving in the love offering that is being gathered at each service or remember you can give online as well.

Our LIVE- Stream on Sunday will begin at (10am CLICK HERE) – It will be Live so please do not be caught off guard by assuming you can start watching at some other time.

In-person Worship at 980 Haven from 10-10:55am Sunday morning. As we gather together to worship let us do so as a body of believers that is full of grace, humility, and a has a spirit of unity as we walk together to accomplish God’s purposes. One added option we want to offer is for those at higher risk that come to our services: if you would want to remain in your car for the service, just mention it to our parking attendants and they will direct you to a spot where you can park and worship with your window open. With that spirit here are the current protocols for our gatherings:

1.       Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.  Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus.

2.       6-foot social distancing and reduced contact points.

Bring your own lawn chair
We will use an offering box rather than pass a basket

3.       Masks are optional, and if it makes you feel more comfortable please wear one.

4.       Follow directions for parking and seating.

5.       Help make this a Corona-free zone: We don’t desire to have it, spread it, talk about it, or discuss the politics surrounding it as we focus on worship and Jesus Christ.

We love each one of you and are praying for God to continue to help us to grow in His wisdom and grace. May God bless you this weekend!

Much Love,

Pastor Tom
