Hello Church,
This weekend we again will offer an Open-air Worship hour as well as a Kids lesson during Pastor Tom’s sermon. The protocols for in-person worship are still in effect for our safety. We understand that our loving follow-through will help all of us to return over the long run.
We are also committed to providing those at home with a Live-stream of the service. Our LIVE- Stream on Sunday will begin at 10a.m. at www.fbcalbion.com – It will be Live so please do not be caught off guard by assuming you can start watching at some other time.
Last week we added an option for those at higher risk that come to our services: if you would want to remain in your car for the service, just mention it to our parking attendants and they will direct you to a spot where you can park and worship with your window open. With that spirit here are the current protocols for our gatherings:
1. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus.
2. 6-foot social distancing and reduced contact points.
Bring your own lawn chair
We will use an offering box rather than pass a basket
3. Masks are optional, and if it makes you feel more comfortable please wear one.
4. Follow directions for parking and seating.
5. Help make this a Corona-free zone: We don’t desire to have it, spread it, talk about it, or discuss the politics surrounding it as we focus on worship and Jesus Christ.
