Worship July 5th 10am

Hello Church,

Happy 4th of July weekend! Tomorrow we will be welcoming home our missionaries the Markley’s. They will be sharing with us what God is doing around the world and at our church in Papua New Guinea. We will continue to use all of our protocols (listed below), your lawn chairs, and our Family Life Center to worship the Lord at 10am Sunday Morning.

This week our Kids Church includes a special 5-week Mystery Island Adventure that will include a time of singing, story-telling, crafts and memorizing verses. Each child will go home with a bag of activities for using during the week. Please follow directions as you enter to drop your child off at the “Island” at 9:50 so they can get started right at 10 with their high energy program.

We are also committed to providing those at home with a Live-stream of the service. We corrected an echo problem from last week and are set to LIVE- Stream on Sunday at 10a.m. at www.fbcalbion.com – It will be Live so please do not be caught off guard by assuming you can start watching at some other time.

FBC Gathering Protocols:

1.       Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.  Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus.

2.       6-foot social distancing and reduced contact points. All doors will be propped open. Bring your own lawn chair, We will also use an offering box rather than pass a basket

3.       Masks are optional, and as you see some choosing to wear a mask, let us all use it as a reminder to follow 6 foot distancing as well.

4.       Follow directions for parking and seating. You may enter the Family Life Center from the back of the gym or the front of the FLC entrance.

5.       Help make this a Corona-free zone: We don’t desire to have it, spread it, talk about it, or discuss the politics surrounding it as we focus on worship and Jesus Christ.

We love each one of you and are praying for God to continue to help us to grow in His wisdom and grace. May God bless you this weekend!
