As we look at the weather Sunday we are excited to see comfortable 70 degree temperatures. To take advantage of the beautiful day, we will be having an open-air worship service at 10am in front of the Family Life Center. We are also looking forward to starting our new sermon series on the church called: “Reboot: God’s Church, God’s Way”.
As you pull in the parking lot please pay attention to those directing parking. We will continue to use all of our protocols (listed below) and don’t forget your lawn chairs. Also for those with children, don’t forget to check in at 9:50 for the 3rd week of our Kids Mystery Island Adventure.
We are also committed to providing those at home with a Live-stream of the service on Sunday at 10a.m. at www.fbcalbion.com – It will be Live so please do not be caught off guard by assuming you can start watching at some other time.
FBC Gathering Protocols:
1. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus.
2. 6-foot social distancing and reduced contact points. All doors will be propped open. Bring your own lawn chair, We will also use an offering box rather than pass a basket
3. Even thought we are meeting outside masks are optional, and as you see some choosing to wear a mask, let us all use it as a reminder to follow 6 foot distancing as well.
4. Follow directions for parking and seating.
5. Help make this a Corona-free zone: We don’t desire to have it, spread it, talk about it, or discuss the politics surrounding it as we focus on worship and Jesus Christ.
